StreetSiren Jeweller combines powerful sound, LED indication, and smart features to make security events impossible to miss. It signals alarms, displays system status, notifies of delays when arming or disarming, and provides after-alarm indication for patrols. The Chime feature adds convenience by alerting users to doors being opened. The device offers wireless communication, robust hardware and software protection against sabotage, and remote control via Ajax apps.

Alerts for any incident

The siren effectively deters intruders and can provide visual and sound alerts for any alarms in the system, including those triggered by fire, water leaks, and more. Installers can choose a specific device or group to trigger the sound and LED indication. Additionally, they can adjust the alarm volume and duration2 as needed.

Delay indication

StreetSiren Jeweller can be set to indicate entry or exit delays. When this feature is enabled, the LED frame and sound notify users of delays, helping to minimize false alarms caused by human error or forgetfulness.

Security mode display

The LED frame on the siren can signal that the system is armed or reflect changes in security modes. Alternatively, the LED indication may remain constantly on to prevent anyone from tracking the facility’s security status.

Door opening notifications

Thanks to the Chime feature, the siren emits a sound when an opening detector1 is triggered while the system is disarmed. This feature is especially useful in stores, as it alerts staff to the arrival of new visitors.

After-alarm signaling

When activated, the LED frame indicates confirmed and unconfirmed alarms, as well as the lid being opened, until the site system is disarmed. This ensures that the passing patrols are aware of an incident and can respond accordingly.

The right protection for every setting StreetSiren Jeweller is flexible when it comes to settings, which makes it suitable for both quiet residential communities and noisy industrial areas. The alarm signal can be adjusted in volume5, ranging from 85 to 113 dB, and its duration can be set2 from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. Alternatively, the siren can operate silently and respond to alarms with LED indication only. Ajax apps allow engineers to choose which detector or group activates the siren. Wire-free flexibility and reliable performance

StreetSiren Jeweller operates without any wires and offers maximum flexibility during installation. The pre-installed CR123A batteries from proven manufacturers ensure reliable power. After the batteries are tested in real time at the production stage, Ajax Systems inspects every unit to ensure the characteristics are accurate. The batteries provide approximately 5 years of autonomous operation and are easily replaceable. Battery status can be monitored via Ajax apps at all times, and early low-battery warnings help users and security companies plan maintenance in advance. The siren also supports connection to an external power supply, while seamlessly switching to battery power in case of interruptions.

For complex radio signal conditions, the ReX Jeweller range extender boosts the range of all Ajax devices and manages their communication with the hub via Jeweller. And ReX 2 Jeweller assures stable communication even through steel and concrete via Ethernet using the wire as the additional communication channel. Up to 5 range extenders can operate within one Ajax system to expand the network twice as big, covering multistory buildings with underground parking and basements.

System supervision

All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to the hub. Essential parameters, including tamper, communication, power supply, and sensor statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for CMSs, security companies, and users. In case of any malfunction or communication failure, an engineer is informed immediately to provide necessary services.

Sabotage resistance

Tamper alarm

The tamper button is triggered when the siren enclosure is opened. With the appropriate settings, other sirens in the system will also respond to the tamper alarm.

Data encryption

All data the system stores and transmits is protected by block encryption featuring a dynamic key. This encryption deters attempts to intentionally sabotage the device.

Informative notifications

An Ajax system instantly delivers detailed notifications about alarms and events. Both security companies and users receive precise details about the incident, including the triggered device, along with the time and location.

Device authentication against spoofing

The hub authenticates the siren’s unique parameters during each communication session. If any parameter fails verification, the hub ignores the device’s commands.

Regular polling

The device regularly exchanges data with the hub. The system controls each device state and reports if there is a malfunction or connection loss.

Connection loss detection

With the polling interval set to a minimum (3 data packages in 12 seconds), it takes 36 seconds to identify connection loss and notify the security company and users of the incident.

Protected enclosure

The siren enclosure is designed to minimize the impact of vandals and the environment. The dense casing with specialized sealing bands and sealant provides weather resistance and is certified with the IP54 rating. Durable plastic and metal grating ensure additional security, while the secure mounting prevents the siren from being detached from the wall.

Accelerometer

The built-in accelerometer detects any attempts to move or dismount the siren, providing immediate notification to users or security companies.

Effortless installation and setup

StreetSiren Jeweller is ready to operate straight out of the box. Using the SmartBracket panel, an installer can effortlessly mount the device, eliminating the need to disassemble the enclosure. Ajax apps help quickly make the device a part of the system: simply pair the siren with the hub by scanning the QR code. The device can always be reconfigured remotely without the need for on-site visits.
