HomeSiren Jeweller is a smart indoor device that does more than alerting alarms. It can also serve as a security status indicator, notify of door openings, and display delays when entering or leaving and after-alarm. The device operates autonomously on pre-installed batteries for up to 5 years and uses wireless Jeweller radio protocol to communicate with a hub or range extender at a distance1 of up to 2,000 m. HomeSiren Jeweller is protected at hardware and software levels and easy to control via Ajax apps.

Informs about any alert
The siren deters intruders and notifies of fire detection, water leaks, and other alarms. An installer can set up the detector that triggers the sound and LED indication.
Indicates the delays
HomeSiren Jeweller can be set to indicate a delay when entering or leaving. If the feature is on, the built-in LED and sound remind a user that the system needs to be disarmed.
Displays a security mode
The siren’s LED indicator can turn on to show that the system is armed or that the security mode has changed or be always on to avoid unwanted tracking. Also, sound indication and third-party LEDs can be used.
Notifies of door opening
HomeSiren Jeweller can make a special sound to indicate that the opening detector’s sensors are triggered when the system is disarmed. It is a Chimes feature, and it is perfect for stores. Employees will immediately know about new visitors.
Signals the after-alarms
Once active, the siren’s LED indicator shows confirmed and unconfirmed alarms and lid openings.

Baseline devices operate without any wires and offer maximum flexibility during installation. The pre-installed CR123A batteries from proven manufacturers ensure hassle-free setup and require no additional steps to start operating the devices. After the batteries are tested in real-time at the production stage, Ajax Systems inspects every unit to ensure the accuracy of the battery characteristics. The batteries are easy to replace after approximately 5 years of autonomous operation. Users and security companies can always check the battery status via Ajax apps and anticipate maintenance thanks to early low-battery warnings.

An Ajax system uses two-way secure radio communication based on the Jeweller proprietary protocol. It provides block cipher encryption and device authentication at each communication session with the hub to prevent sabotage, spoofing, or data theft.

Scaled and comprehensive
For complex radio signal conditions, the ReX Jeweller range extender boosts the range of all Ajax devices and manages their communication with the hub via Jeweller. And ReX 2 Jeweller assures stable communication even through steel and concrete via Ethernet using the wire as the additional communication channel. Up to 5 range extenders can operate within one Ajax system to expand the network twice as big, covering multistorey buildings with underground parking and basements.

System supervision
All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to the hub. Essential parameters, including tamper, communication, power supply, and sensor statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for CMSs, security companies, and users. In case of any malfunction or communication failure, an engineer is informed immediately to provide necessary services.

Sabotage resistance
Tamper alarmA tamper is designed to detect malicious dismantling of HomeSiren Jeweller. Users and CMS will be immediately notified of this. Other sirens in the system may also activate a sound signal if they are set up accordingly.
Data encryptionBlock encryption with a dynamic key protects all the stored and transmitted system data. It makes device reprogramming extremely difficult and protects data from replacement and theft.
Data-rich notificationsThe Ajax system instantly delivers informative notifications of alarms and events. Security companies and users receive precise details about an incident, including a triggered device, time, and location.
Device authentication against spoofingThe hub authenticates the device during each communication session by checking its unique parameters. If any parameter fails the check, the hub ignores device commands.
Regular pollingThe device regularly exchanges data with the hub. The system controls each device state and reports any malfunction and connection loss.
Communication loss detectionAt minimal polling interval settings (3 data packages every 12 seconds), it takes only 36 seconds to detect connection loss and notify the security company and users of the incident.
Effortless installation and setup
HomeSiren Jeweller is ready to operate straight out of the box. Using the SmartBracket mounting panel, an installer can effortlessly mount the device on the wall, eliminating the need to disassemble the enclosure. Ajax apps facilitate quick integration into the ecosystem: simply pair the device with the hub by scanning the QR code. It can always be reconfigured remotely without the need for on-site visits.
